You can become a member at A.S.V. Taste by signing up via our sign-up form. Signing up can be done from now up until September 24 online. De Kick-In for UT students takes place from August 24 up until September 1 and the HOI week for Saxion students from August 29 to September 1. After the Kick-In and HOI week there will be an introduction period in which you will get to know the association.

In the life of a student, money plays a big role. Your rent and college fees have to be paid, you have to eat and you also want to do fun things. If you are a member of A.S.V. Taste you will pay about 100 euro a year in contribution fees. With this, we are one of the cheapest student associations in the Netherlands. Besides, you pay your bar bill monthly. However, this will not be that much, because you pay only 1,05 eruo for a beer!

The most important question of students-to-be is how good a student association can be combined with your study. At A.S.V. Taste we find it important that you have an incredible time, but study will always have the highest priority. That is why it is completely on you to determine how much time you will spend with the association and how much time on studying.

During the exam periods, a lot of members of Taste will be busy studying at the university. Studying together works stimulating and there are always people you can drink coffee with. Furthermore, every module an exam lunch is prepared at the university which all Taste members can enjoy for free. Lastly, study evenings are organised for courses that many members take like calculus.

The difference between a general and a corporal student association is that a general student association has no internal hierarchy. We are an association where everyone can become a member and where everyone is equal, regardless of how long you are a member. That's why there is no difference in how much you pay in contribution fees and other activities.

Every year you can sign up to become a member of A.S.V. Taste from the beginning of the Kick-in, up until the Grolsch After Kick-In Party. The reason for this is that the introduction period of Taste is planned on two predetermined moments. If you decide to become a member in your second or even third study year, it is possible to sign up at the Kick-In of that year.

If you are officially signed up for A.S.V. Taste you have to participate in a introduction period. The introduction period consists of a week and an after-week. When you are officially a member, you will start to form your year club. A year club consists of 8-12 men or women from the same year layer. The formation of a year club is not mandatory but is highly recommended. Further activities throughout the year are without obligation.

Yes, of course. You can however not drink any alcohol at the sociëteit if you are younger than 18.

How much time a student association takes depends completely on you and how active you want to become. Before you are officially a member, you have to do an introduction period. The introduction period includes a weekend and an after-week.

If you are a member forming your year club is the next step. During this period loads of fun activities are organised to get to know your year layer better. Furthermore, it is possible to do committees. The degree in which you want to spend your time on this is again completely on you.
